Select the card below to register
If you have a voucher code you will not be charged the fee
This eLearning teaching and training resource provides anaesthesia providers with practical and theoretical information on performing and managing spinal anaesthesia, with a vision to reduce the morbidity and mortality of surgically treatable conditions in low & middle income countries.
It is intended to be a supplement to face to face teaching and must not be considered a substitute for high quality clinical instruction.
The course fee is set at $100. Fees from independent registrants are gratefully acknowledged and support the ongoing running of this program.
Recognising financial constraints and the critical need for advanced medical education in low to middle income countries (LMICs), we offer complimentary access to anaesthesia providers working in these regions.
If you are an anaesthesia provider from an LMIC and the course fee poses a financial burden, we encourage you to email andrew@healthvolunteers.org to enquire about obtaining a free access code to the course. Our goal is to ensure that every anaesthesia provider has the opportunity to enhance their skills, regardless of their geographical location or financial situation.
Allow a few hours to complete the essential components of this course, and up to 10 hours including the deeper dives and suggested reading. You may choose to focus on the lessons that best address your individual learning needs.
You have access to the course for 2 months.
You do not need to complete the course in a single sitting and may return to it as many times as you wish within your 2 month period.
To claim Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for this eLearning course, you must record the number of hours you spend on the course material.
The crediting of CPD points is at the discretion of your professional organisation.
